Welcome from the Head

Dear Early Learning Center Families,

Welcome to the happiest place on campus! In the Early Learning Center (ELC), there is a tangible feeling of togetherness and family — a home away from home for the children and faculty. We provide a safe environment that allows children to learn to think independently and to begin taking responsibility for themselves and their learning.

As the Head of The Early Learning Center, I enjoy meeting and interacting with each family as you begin your journey at The Heritage School. The foundation of the Heritage education is to encourage children to observe, explore, and discover. Our experienced ELC team provides a program that is developmentally appropriate and focuses on each child as an individual. Our children are engaged in activities campus-wide, partnering with older children on special projects and exploring the exciting indoor/outdoor learning environments our school offers.

As an alumna of the Heritage School, I am proud to continue the tradition of offering an outstanding educational experience while caring about our children and their families. Our ELC team supports the school’s mission — mind, body spirit, and camaraderie.

Please plan to visit our classrooms and join the fun!

Sincerely,
Donna Dougherty
