Extracurricular activities in the Lower School are an introduction to involvement in the school after the academic hours. This optional time provides academic, athletic, and fine arts experiences.
HYPE (Heritage Youth Performance Ensemble) is a musical group for students in grades 3-6. Students have choral music lessons and hold concerts for the community in several different venues.
Students in grades 4-6 may play Lower School football. Here students are taught the fundamentals of football and compete with teams around the region. The Lower School cheerleader program falls under the auspices of Afternoon Adventures.
Intramural basketball is for students in grades 4-6. Students are divided into teams coached by Upper School students. The season extends from January through early March.
Intramural soccer is also for students in grades 4-6. Students are divided into teams coached by Upper School students. The season extends from March through early May.
Supervised study time is offered through our after school Extended Day program.
