Life at the Nest
Life at The Heritage School is about more than what happens in the classroom. From cheering on the Hawks and enjoying time with friends to getting involved in clubs, the arts, athletics, service, and campus events, there’s always something happening at the Nest. It’s the everyday moments, shared experiences, and connections between students, families, faculty, staff, and alumni that make the Heritage community what it is.
The Heritage Difference
International Day
International Day celebrates the many cultures and perspectives represented in The Heritage School community. Students enjoy a day of learning, exploring, and celebrating the traditions, food, music, and customs that make our community so diverse.
League 345
League 345 gives students in Grades 3–5 the chance to learn new sports, build skills, and have fun after school. Different sports are offered throughout the year, including flag football, running, futsal, and basketball, with practices and games led by Heritage Upper School student-athletes. Each season culminates in a championship celebrated in front of the entire student body, giving our younger Hawks a chance to experience the excitement of competition and school spirit.
Jubilee
Jubilee is one of The Heritage School’s biggest student traditions, bringing friendly competition and school spirit to campus throughout the year. Seniors form teams at the beginning of the school year and compete in events like Glass Hill, volleyball, softball, musical chairs, Scholar Bowl, cheers, and more, culminating in a week-long Field Day and the crowning of the Jubilee champion. The ELC and Lower School also celebrate Jubilee with their own end-of-year festivities.
Grove Market
Grove Market gives our young entrepreneurs a chance to dream up, create, and sell their own products. Open to students in Grades 1–6 and a required experience for fourth graders, the one-day market in the Grove lets students turn their ideas into something real while learning about creativity, marketing, and entrepreneurship.

Parents Club
The Heritage School Parents’ Club is a welcoming community of parents and caregivers who work together to support our students, faculty, and staff. Throughout the year, the Parents’ Club helps organize and support special events and traditions, including Teacher Appreciation Week, the Newnan Christmas Parade, Tailgates in the Grove, Trunk or Treat, and more.
