Georgia Goal
Redirect Your State Tax Dollars
The Heritage School participates in Georgia's Qualified Education Expense Tax Credit program which provides an opportunity for Georgia taxpayers to set aside a portion of their tax dollars to support qualified student scholarships.
By participating in Georgia GOAL, taxpayers redirect funds that they required to pay anyway to a private school of their choosing. It is not a donation, but rather a way to choose the specific way in which your tax dollars will be spent. These funds allow The Heritage School to offer scholarships to pre-qualified students to help offset the cost of education.

FAQ
FAQ: The Georgia GOAl process is simple but can be a bit difficult to understand. We are happy to talk you through the process and explain any concerns. Here are a few questions you may immediately have.
- What amount should I put in the "Total 2025 Amount Requested" field? Use the guidelines below to request the maximum amount. Requesting the maximum ensures our school receives as much funding as possible.
- How do I make sure The Heritage School receives my funds? Designate The Heritage School in the drop-down menu as "Heritage School, The - Newnan." You may contribute to multiple schools if desired.
- Will I still receive a tax refund if I participate? Yes! Participation does not affect your tax refund. You are simply designating owed taxes to fund the school.
