General Admission Information

The Heritage School admits motivated, average to exemplary, college-bound students with no conduct or absentee issues. The Admission process identifies students in Pre-School through Twelfth grades who demonstrate motivation and the ability to fulfill The Heritage School’s academic requirements. In reviewing applications, the Admission Committee considers academic performance, standardized test results, teacher evaluation, individual characteristics, talents, and extracurricular pursuits.

Admission applications completed by the March 12, 2018 deadline will be guaranteed a March 31, 2018 admissions decision.

All other admission applications will be provided an admission decision as soon as possible thereafter.

After April 1, Applications for Admission will continue to be accepted. However, enrollment contracts will be offered as space permits. Families who apply to The Heritage School after classes are filled are placed in a wait pool.
As a member of the Atlanta Area Association of Independent Schools (AAAIS). The Heritage School adheres to the AAAIS Principles of Good Practice. According to AAAIS rules, admission decision letters are mailed on a common notification date, and after this date applicants and their parents are not permitted to visit The Heritage School until the admission response period ends.

In addition, The Heritage School is not permitted to initiate contact with applicants or their parents during this time, however, you are welcome to call or email us if questions arise before the admission response date. The AAAIS Admisson Response Date is Thursday, April 13, 2017.
