Why Give to the Heritage Fund?
Your generous support for the Heritage Fund provides opportunities for each student in fine arts, athletics, and technology. Instead of booster clubs and individual program fundraisers, The Heritage School takes a different approach. Our annual Heritage Fund campaign gives parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends of the School a way to support visual arts, performing arts, sports teams, cheerleading squads, an on-site athletic trainer, and technology like classroom iPads, by making one donation. We call it One Gift for One Heritage.
This approach allows us to provide the best experience for all of our students, regardless of whether they play a sport, perform onstage, or simply need to conduct online research for a project. After all, our mission calls us to train each student in the areas of mind, body, spirit, and camaraderie. Whether a four year old Early Learning Center student, a Second Grade Lower School student, a Seventh Grade Middle School student, or a Tenth Grade Upper School student, each deserves and receives benefits from an intentional exposure to music, art, physical education, age appropriate competitive athletics, a state of the art computer lab, and classroom technology . Your tax deductible donation to the Heritage Fund provides music programs that help students think creatively and perform better academically, physical education classes that allow students to train the body while relieving pent up energy, providing greater classroom focus, as well as technology training that keeps our students capable navigators of the ever-changing digital environment.
The Heritage Fund 2016-2017 runs from July 1, 2016-June 30, 2017. This year's goal is $220,000 with a participation goal of 75% for our current families. Please help us continue to provide the best learning environment for our students by making a gift. Donor recognition is published each year in the Annual Report of Giving contained within our Soaring to New Heights publication.
